Hutatma Apparao Patil Birth Centenary Celebrations
Hutatma Apparao Patil (14th Jan. 1924 � 12th Oct. 1948), young and dynamic national leader with patriotic zeal joined Indian freedom struggle at the age of thirteen. He was inspired by Gandhiji, Patel, Bhagat Singh and Netaji and worked closely with these national leaders. After a successful fight against British and won the freedom and he continued to fight against the tyranny of Razakars and undemocratic rule of Nizam of Hyderabad. In an Indian army operation lead by Hutatma Apparao Patil succumbed to the multiple bullet injuries, won the battler and hoisted the Indian flag against anti-Indian forces. On this occasion, Hutatma Apparao Patil Foundation is on mission to documentation and preservation of history of Indian freedom struggle in Karnataka. The specific program for the centenary year, we have host of programs including seminars, competitions, social activities, health camps, book publications and virtual museum.

We have collected lot of rare photograps (400+), research artileces, jail dairies, arrest warrents, unique videos, army opertion details and hertiahe collections from the 19th centuery.

We are a group of people consisting of freedom fighters, family members of martyrs, members of Indian armed forces (Army and Air force), historians, heritage experts, artists, muscains, documentation specialists (Print/Visual), journalists, research scholars, professors, teachers and people of Kalyana Karnataka.
